Happy Fourth of July! Today was an incredible day spent with family and friends in Laguna! I grazed my way through a wonderful bounty of food. Went for multiple walks along the beach with family and good friends. Battled high rough tides. Laid out and soaked up some sun. Tried to go and explore the tide pools, but rough surf and high tides had them submerged and closed all day. Indulged in a traditional fourth forth of July dinner of fried chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, watermelon, tossed green salad and pudding dessert. Watched multiple firework shows from our beach house balcony. And now…? We’re watching a marathon of Jaws movies. (Haven’t missed the irony of watching these with the ocean’s waves crashing less than 200 feet from us.)
