We live in a hectic era.  Where downtime can sometimes appear the endangered species.  It's good to acknowledge when we're overwhelmed and take a step back to collect our thoughts and process what's going on around us.  This isn’t always easy.  Sometimes, extricating ourselves from the midst of what we’re enduring long enough to clear our heads is near impossible.  It’s at those times that sheer determination becomes our ally.

Failure to acknowledge when we’re overwhelmed and take the time to process how that makes us feel can lead us into a never-ending cycle of being stressed to the point where we resemble a dog chasing its tail—going round and round but never getting anywhere.  The end result, we fall down, too dizzy to stand up.

Life is busy.  That’s not a bad thing.  But one must maintain the ability to regularly take stock of how their hectic schedule affects them.  If things are too overwhelming, then dial it back a bit.  But if you’re able to carry on, then by all means, more power to you.
