I wonder….  As a writer, my mind is an incessant overtime machine working every which angle of things I see.  It molds them into plots, scenarios and entire stories.  I’ve been this way for as long as I can recall.  The simplest thing can set my mind to racing over possibilities.  A butterfly fluttering through the sky, a homeless person pushing their shopping cart down the boulevard, children frolicking without a care in the world.  I watch the first few seconds of each of these instances play out, and then it’s as if I go into a trance.  My mind takes over, filling in the gaps of what might come…what would come, if only I was writing the story.   Do others experience the same?
