While tidying up my office earlier today, I came across a note I’d written to myself sometime back about a blog idea I thought would be fun.  The concept: if your dog could talk and was mad at you, what would it say?

Who amongst us hasn’t been thoroughly embarrassed by the most revealing comments that come out of the mouths of those sweet little darlings we call our children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, etc?  It’s not that the little ones are trying to be mean.  They just get excited about what information they know and can’t wait to share it.  Of course, usually, what’s revealed doesn’t depict us in our finest moments.

So think about it.  If those little darling we surround ourselves with are able to “sponge” up such a wealth of information about us that, when innocently regurgitated to others, embarrasses us, just how much do our beloved k-9s soak up?  And, despite their being man’s best friend, what if one day the family dog could suddenly talk.  And…what if, just to complicate matters, they learned to hold a grudge and in a moment of displeasure decided to spill the goods on us?

Think of all the family dog has seen…heard…smelled.  Oh, goodness, no doubt the family dog could burry us with eternal embarrassment from all the dirt they have on us.
