There are times I’m astounded by how ruthless some people can be to others.  Case in point, there was a man the other day who kicked the walking cane of a man who was using to “see” where he was going.  The end of the cane partially folded up, causing the blind man to falter and fall.  The bag of goods he’d been carrying spilled its contents.  Meanwhile, the man who had kicked the blind man’s cane never stopped to help the blind man, who was left to crawl on his hands and knees, feeling around to pick up his goods. 

My mind reeled with what the heck was going through the mind of the man who had kicked the cane.   What could have possible possessed him to do such a mean act?  And to someone who couldn’t see—literally—what was coming?  Honestly, I just don’t get it.  What is wrong with some people?
