Heaven’s Tears
Raindrops
falling
One
at a time.
Pitter-patter.
Water
dripping from an eve,
Splashing
against a window.
Cool
breeze kicks up.
Clouds
grow darker.
Light
fades
As
Heaven’s tears
Cleanse
Mother Earth.
Sweet
fragrances erupt,
As
raindrops
Sprinkles
leaves, pollen and flowers.
Puddles
form.
Gutters
run full.
Water
rushes towards the sea.
Meanwhile,
I snuggle deeper
Under
my covers.
Pulling
them to my chin,
Warmth
surrounds,
As happy thoughts prevail.
