Regardless of one’s personality—private, withdrawn or outgoing—I believe that most yearn to share, be desired and search for similarities in others.  I think this is the core of human nature.
Though there are those who are more introverted than others, desiring to be left alone, I believe that on some level, they still desire one of the abovementioned traits.  Being more withdrawn, they may seek this through reading books, viewing movies or other means, but they do seek it.

In my opinion, sharing, being desired and searching for similarities in others is the crux of fulfillment on a deep level.  So many of the things we spend our time doing never touch on these simple basics.  Instead, they capture our attention, dragging us this way and that, seldom leading us to planes of contentment that have any lasting meaning.

Life often whirls around us in a blinding blur that leaves us dizzy and the edges of our reality slightly foggy, as if we’re not quite sure of where we’re going.   Need to go.  Have traveled.  By learning to identify the basics we need, we’ll be better equipped to share with others, recognize when we’re being desired and identify similarities in others.  Doing so will likely help put our souls at ease.
